Nancy E. Peterman — Partner

Nancy E. Peterman, as Partner, assists universities, schools, healthcare, and human service organizations to achieve results and pursue their missions. Most recently Nancy served as President of the Georgia State University Foundation and Vice President for University Development. During her time at GSU she completed the largest comprehensive campaign in the University's history, raising more than $127 million and built an infrastructure to focus on major gift strategies across the campus.

Prior to Georgia State, she served as Executive Director of the Old Dominion University Educational and Intercollegiate Foundations, where she oversaw a record setting capital campaign and doubled the size of the endowment fund. Nancy has also served as President of the DePaul Health Foundation, as Director of Development for Marist School in Atlanta, and as Senior Executive Consultant for the Kellogg Organization. She has been in the development field for more than eighteen years and has sixteen years of foundation management experience.

As a volunteer, Nancy has served on the boards of Theatrical Outfit and the Association for Fundraising Professionals of Atlanta. Nancy is a graduate of the University of Virginia, with graduate work in business at Old Dominion University and is an accomplished violinist.

She is married to Michael Pratt, an otolaryngologist, and they have four children, the youngest a student at James Madison University. A dedicated parent and volunteer, when her eldest child was in high school she demonstrated her diverse artistic talents, sewing costumes for musical productions and playing in the pit orchestra. Nancy's current hobbies include playing the violin, cooking, reading, running, and her most recent activity, knitting.
